The plumb line has a wire (F) with a weight (100) and a vertical reference slide. The end of the wire has a reel (200) mounted inside a casing (300), allowing simultaneous wedging and functioning of a fixed height reference along the wire when the casing is applied against a support to be checked and the wire is unreeled.
