A data signal (DS) is modulated with an additional signal (ZSB, ZSG) by amplitude modulation. Said additional signal is not transmitted in the non-transparent functional units (FE). The additional signal is therefore retrieved by demodulation, then regenerated, modulated with the data signal (DS) to be processed and emitted as optical output signal. |
