摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical system sensor of a low cost wherein miniaturization is easy, and inclination in an arbitrary direction or the like can be simply detected. SOLUTION: A light emitting element(LED) 11 and a light receiving element 12 are so arranged face to face that an optical axis of the light emitting element coincides with the center of a light receiving surface of the light receiving element, a conic recessed part 11t is so formed with an elevation angleαof a bus that the optical axis and the center axis of the light emitting element coincide with a bearing member 11c arranged in the intermediate part of the light emitting element and the light receiving element, and a spherical member 13 is movably supported, thereby constituting an inclination sensor 10. Light receiving surfaces of four photodiodes 12a-(12d) of the light emitting element are symmetrically arranged with respect to an X axis and a Y axis which are perpendicular to the optical axis of the light emitting element, respectively. When a sensor is inclined at an angleβexceeding the elevation angle of the bus, the spherical member moves toward the maximum inclination direction, a projected image of the spherical member moves on the light receiving surface, and light receiving amounts of the respective photodiodes are changed. Thereby the maximum inclination direction is operated on the basis of the light receiving amounts of the respective phtodiodes.
