PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To successfully vegetate plants, prevent the collapse of a slope, and leave no residual material by fitting a hydrolytic vegetation sheet to one face of a coarse coconut net, and integrally sewing them. SOLUTION: A hydrolytic vegetation sheet 3 is fitted to one face of a coarse coconut net 2, and they are integrally sewn at proper knots to form a vegetation net 1. Coconut fiber strands with the diameter 1-10 mm are woven at the rate of 5-15 strands in 10×10 cm to form the coconut net 2, and a biodegradable synthetic resin fiber thread is used as a suture. The vegetation sheet 3 is constituted of water-soluble paper 4a, 4b, a vegetation substrate 5, and a mosquito net texture 6. When the vegetation net 1 is arranged in the low water area of a river, the sprouting and growth of seeds are accelerated, plants are successfully vegetated, and the collapse of a slope surface is effectively prevented. The vegetation net 1 is corroded after 2-5 years, and it does not leave a residual material affecting the environment of the river.
