<p>Inflatable pads (1, 2) of certain shape are provided for holding the heart during surgery, particularly to give access to certain coronary vessels. These pads (1, 2) enable the surgeon to obtain easier access to the heart by placing the pads (1, 2) under the heart during surgery, thereafter inflating the pads (1, 2) in order to turn the heart between about 30 degrees, and about 90 degrees.</p> |
