The feeder (3) has a cleaning arrangement with cleaner (5) fixed to an adjustable support arm (8). The cleaner-tool has a rotary brush (6) and an axially front-positioned spray head (7). The support arm swivels on an axle (P) parallel with the tilt axis (A) of the ash-barrel (M). The support arm is mounted on a cleaning-carriage (9) traveling on guides (10) parallel with the tilt axis. The side of the rotary brush facing away from the spray head has extra nozzles (12).
