The umbrella holder comprises a slim, sleeve-type watertight receptacle (1) made of flexible material, and with an upper opening (2) for inserting the umbrella. The receptacle is sewn together from a coated or impregnated textile fabric with the seams sealed. The receptacle is fixed in the vehicle by a loop (3) which enables it to be hung in a suitable place, or attached by Velcro or by press-studs.
