The present invention relates to a gas-generator structure used for producing a low-temperature gas (not exceeding 350 DEG K), and more precisely for producing nitrogen from a solid monolithic charge. The charge is provided with through-pores that ensure the flow of the charge combustion products. This invention also relates to a composition for this nitrogen-generating charge as well as to a method for preparing the same.
