Disclosed is a blade holder, more particularly a knife holder, comprising a locating part retaining the knives by means of the individual blades of said knives. The invention is characterized in that the locating part is a screw tension spring (1) that can be fixed on a wall (4), said spring being made of spring steel with several closely adjacent coils for locating and fixing the blades (10) inserted radially between said coils. The spring (1) is retained at a distance by a bar loosely traversing the spring (1) by means of screws (13) in such a way that the spring (1) or its coils are slightly displaced axially on the bar when the blades are inserted and when the resulting longitudinal changes occurs.
