The foot (23) has a laterally extending cross rib (27), the free dimension (G) of which crossways to the foot is greater than the width of the groove. The seal has a T-profile, and the T-cross beam (22) is formed for sealing against the sealing surface of the second structural part. The T-upright beam forms the foot. The free dimension (G) of the cross rib (27) crossways to the foot (23) is determined by the equation G = B + X (N B) in which N is the width of the groove at its entry, X is a factor preferably of 1.7 and B is the foot width.
