Liquid is supplied to the mixing tank via alternate chambers (4, 5) to maintain a continuous supply of liquid containing mixed in gas. A method for mixing a gas into a liquid comprises introducing a flow of liquid into a treatment tank via a gas filling machine (2), from which liquid is periodically removed for the introduction of the gas. The liquid is supplied to the tank alternately via a number of chambers (4, 5) inside the machine, so that a continuous supply of liquid containing a chosen quantity of gas mixed into it is obtained. An Independent claim is also included for the mixing apparatus, comprising a gas filling machine with valve connections (6, 7a, 7b, 8, 9) for the flow of liquid, tank and gas source. |
