The apparatus to take dosed or mixed materials for a short time, from a pan mixer (1), has a holding container (2) which tapers downwards. The capacity of the container is at least equal to the volume capacity of the mixer, and the container is emptied by gravity or a conveyor screw, etc.. The container is closed by flaps, slides (3) or other similar closures. The container is subjected to vibration, to assist the outflow of materials which can clog, and the inner surface of the container has a cladding to reduce surface tension. The container is insulated from the mixer to contain vibrations at the container. Cleaning jets (4) are over the container, outside the zone where it is emptied.
