PURPOSE:To improve burglarproof effect and make useful for the discovery even if it is stolen by taking in at least one part of an ignition device, and controlling the function of a part so as to make the ignition device into a non- operating condition, in a burglarproof unit. CONSTITUTION:A burglarproof device 1 is provided with an ignition switch 3 connected to an electric power supply device 2, a burglarproof unit 5 connected to an ignition device 4, and the like. A diode 28 as one part of the ignition device 4 is connected to the ignition switch 3 and the ignition device 4, and it makes the operation of the ignition device 4 possible. When the burglarproof unit 5 is made in the locked condition and the operation of the ignition device 4 is prohibited, a CPU 23 stops to output a signal to the base of a transistor and makes the transistor OFF. Hereby, a relay 27 is not excited, and the break contact S7 is closed. Consequently the diode 28 is short-circuited at both ends, rectification becomes impossible, and the ignition device 4 is not operated.
