The invention concerns a support element for a wiper blade forming part of a wiper squeegee for motor vehicle windscreen, ensuring proper support for a wiper blade on the windscreen to be cleaned. Said support element has an elongated shape in the form of a strip and is made of an elastic synthetic material. Said elongated wiper blade made in elastic rubber is fixed on the support element parallel to the longitudinal axis. Thus is obtained a reliable support element with great durability when it is made of a thermoplastic synthetic material reinforced with fibres, the fibres being added to the synthetic material.
