The coil windings of an electrical machine are covered by an insulation layer without pores and in a given thickness, produced by extrusion. The insulation layer is composed of at least one thermoplastic and/or high temp. thermoplastic with an amorphous or partial crystalline structure, or mixed with a filling material.
