A detachable connection is provided between the rear columns (17) of the vehicle and the roof structure components. The rear columns are movable, and in particular can pivot around at least one point. With the rear columns pivoting outwards an intermediate space is created which corresponds approximately to the width of the roof section (15). The roof section and rear window section (16) are detachably interconnected and for opening the roof can be separated from each other and moved individually.
