The frame (9) accepts glazing (6), which can also imply an opening window. Recess(es) (90a,b) extend back from the frame's external end face (91), in which the glazing and intervening insulation (5) are fitted, on the side towards the room interior. An insulating section (4) overlaps the frame's external end face and the glazing. The clamping section (1) is held by a screw (3) passing through the insulation and into the frame. Preferred features: The recesses are symmetrical on both sides. The central bridging section (95) accepts the screw. The recess is undercut at the side support section, forming a wall-blanking bridge. The insulation is inserted in the shaped undercut groove with projection beyond the web (94). The outer insulating profile has side recesses (40,41) interlocking with the clamping profile. The clamping profile has a clip-on covering section (2). It may also be adhered. The acceptance grooves of the frame are sufficiently deep for single- double- or even triple glazing. External silicone rubber seals (8) are included. The clamping profile is an H-section.
