FMCW SENSOR

The invention relates to an FMCW sensor, generating a send signal on the basis of a high frequency from a frequency oscillator (FFO) and a modulated low frequency (mod(t)) from a second oscillator (VCO). The modulated frequency is converted into a reference signal (ref(t)) in a delay line with a surface wave element (SAW). A transmission mixer (TMIX) having a hybrid coupler with a 90~ phase difference and diode terminals are used in the send/receive device. The measuring signal (m(t)) and the reference signal are evaluated in an evaluation device (AE).
