<p>A vinyl acetate-ethylene copolymer emulsion having a solids content of at least about 65 percent by weight comprises about 5 to 40 percent by weight ethylene about 60 to 95 percent by weight vinyl acetate; greater than about 3.0 percent by weight of a polyvinyl alcohol having a degree of polymerization of from about 100 to 500; about 1 to about 4 percent by weight of an ethyoxylated aliphatic surfactant having an HLB of from about 16.5 to 18.0; and about 0.2 to about 1.0 weight percent of a dispersant.</p> |
