The polysilicon sections of supply voltage smoothing capacitors in an integrated circuit (IC) are in the form of stripes with finger-like projections which extend upwards respectively to below a VSS supply line from capacitors located below a VDD supply line and to below the VDD supply line from capacitors located below the VSS supply line.
