The additional rotary mower unit (1) can be attached to either of the sides of any type of lawnmower with an adapter part (2) for cutting the grass close to a tree or a wall. The mower head (16) can be rotated horizontally around a swivel axis (40) with an eccentric bearing (14,15) and is adjustable in height. It is operated by the drive of the main mower.
