The system has a video signal source (12) which is connected with an `electro-optical transducer system (14) outside the screened cabin (2). A light conductor arrangement (16) leads into the cabin from the electro-optical transducer system. A video display unit (24) in the cabin has high frequency screening, and is connected to the light conducting arrangement. An electro-optical transducer system (32), associated with the video display unit, is connected to the light conductor arrangement. A poly silicon display system, associated with the video display unit, is connected to the light conductor arrangement. An illumination system, associated with the video display unit, is connected to the poly silicon display system. A current supply is connected to the video display unit.
