System components (1) that can be fastened on a wall, especially for a kitchen, form a horizontal uninterrupted elongated body when lying directly beside one another. The body can be fastened below upper suspended cupboards (3) and above the work surface (2), especially at a distance from it. The body over the largest part of its length or over its whole length has a constant vertical cross-section. At least the front side (7) of the body is convex. The body has the shape of a section of a horizontal cylinder. The vertical cross-section of the body forms a quadrilateral, especially a trapezoid, a pentagon, a hexagon or a polygon of more corners.
