A rear suspension bicycle having a rear wheel (48) with an axle (52), a frame (24) including a seat tube (36) and a down tube (40) having a top and bottom end, a pair of drop link members (60), one for either side of the rear wheel (48), each having a top attachment point (62) and a bottom attachment point (64), and an axle attachment point (66) for receiving the axle (52). A seat stay assembly (76) including a front end and a rear end, and having a front pivot point adjacent the front end for pivotal attachment to the down tube (40) defining a first pivot point (130), and a pair of rear pivot points, each for pivotal attachment to the top attachment point of one said drop link members, forming together the second pivot point (132). A chain stay assembly (68) having a front end and a rear end, and defining a front pivot point at the front end.
