PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate disposal which does not produce a dioxin and a bad smell and has not the possibility of reinfection by refrigerating a medical care waste such as an injector or the like after injecting water and pulverizing the frozen medical care waste and supercritical hydroxidation decomposing a mixed slurry composed of the pulverized medical care waste and water. SOLUTION: After injecting water into a medical care waste 1 packed up in a carton by a water injecting device, the medical care waste 1 having an injected water is refrigerated in a refrigerant vessel 3. Next the refrigerated medical care waste 1 is pulverized to a fixed grain diameter by a pulverizer 4, and the pulverized medical care waste 1 and the water and thawed and stored in a slurry storage vessel 5 as a mixed slurry. Air acting as an oxidizing agent is pressed into the medical care waste slurry by a vessel type reactor 12 to turn it into a supercritical state, and as a uniform phase composed of a supercritical water, the medical care waste and the oxidizing agent is formed, a supercritical hydroxidation reaction is advanced. Thus the pulverized medical care waste is decomposed mainly into water and a carbon dioxide, and discharged from a discharge line 17 through a cooler 12 and a pressure reducing valve 14.
|
