PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fusion welding machine for thermoplastic resin piping materials, which develops no poor fusion welding due to poor heating or the oxidation of fusion-welded surfaces. SOLUTION: In a fusion welding machine for thermoplastic resin piping materials, in which at least one clamp 4 between two clamps 3 and 4, which hold two piping materials P1 and P2 to be fusion-welded so as to face respective surfaces to be fusion-welded of the two piping materials to each other, is supported slidably onto a trestle towards the direction of the other clamp 3 and a heater is detachably installed at an installing position between the piping materials P1 and P2 held b both the clamps 3 and 4, the heater has a temperature sensor. Further, an installation preventing means, which prevents the heater from being installed at the installing position when the temperature measured with this temperature sensor is below the set temperature of this device, is equipped. |
