PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer which can be set in a limited space and in which supply of a long paper and replacement of ink ribbon are facilitated. SOLUTION: When an upper structure 9 located above a lower structure 8 is turned about a rotary fulcrum shaft 30 to an open position and locked thereat by a lock mechanism 21, a long paper carrying passage 10 formed between the lower and upper structures 8, 9 is kept in open state and a long paper can be fed easily. Since the upper structure 9 does not stretches sideways from the lower structure 8, installation space of printer can be reduced. |
