PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the responsiveness of a brake booster device while making the pedaling power needed to step on a brake pedal from a servo balanced state smaller than in devices of the prior art. SOLUTION: A rubber damper 33 is provided between the valve plunger 17 and the plate plunger 34 of a brake booster device. Brake reaction is transmitted to the valve plunger 17 via an output shaft 37, a reaction disk 35, the plate plunger 34, and the rubber damper 33. Since the valve plunger 17 can advance by compressing the rubber damper 33 when a brake pedal is stepped on from a servo balanced state, it can advance greatly with lighter pedaling power than in devices of the prior art in which it needs to compress the reaction disk when advancing. |
