PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an open type printer in which replacement of paper is facilitated while reducing the size of the printer smaller than that of the recording paper. SOLUTION: A cover frame 2 is provided with a cover opening 8 while a body frame 1 is provided with a body cut part 10 and a large opening of length L for passing a recording paper S is defined at the cover open position. When the recording paper S is passed through the opening and then the cover 2 is closed to bring about a printable state, a part of the recording paper S is projected from the cover frame 2 and the body frame 1. |
