PRODUCTION OF ALKALI METAL CONDENSED PHOSPHATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce various kinds of condensed phosphoric acid salts by removing organic substances from waste containing phosphoric acid and organic substances, producing and recovering industrially usable high-purity condensed phosphoric acid salt and removing organic substances and controlling a degree of condensation of phosphoric acid in the same facility. SOLUTION: A solution containing 5-65 wt.% of an alkali metal ion and phosphate ion in 1.0-3 0 molar ratio (M/P) [M represents a molar amount of alkali metal element and P represents a molar amount of phosphorus element] and 3-50 wt.% organic substances is burned directly or after drying and solidifying so that the material temperature becomes 800 deg.C to 1,200 deg.C in the presence of excess air to produce high-purity alkali metal condensed phosphoric acid salt.
