PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve consistency of quality by forming a head part for hitting with a shuttlecock fixing part contg. a foamed resin and an apex part contg. a natural cork material in a shuttlecock with a head part for hitting and a skirt part planted thereon used for badminton game. SOLUTION: A shuttlecock 10 is prepd. by planting a skirt part 9 on a head part 1 for hitting and feathers of water birds are used for the feathers 6 constituting the skirt part 9 and the feather shafts 4 are planted in a feather shaft fixing part 2 of the head part 1 for hitting in such a way that the feather part 5 forms a skirt-like shape. In addition, the feathers 6 are stabilized by connecting them with hooking threads 8. In addition, a foamed resin is incorporated in the feather shaft fixing part 2 being the upper part of the head part 1 for hitting, but when natural cork powder and granulates are additionally added in this foamed resin, the effect is increased. On the other hand, the apex part 3 is formed of a natural cork material and natural cork powder can also be prepd. from a molded body consisting of natural cork granulates and a synthetic resin. |
