<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grazing stock managing apparatus causing little mechanical failure, missing of data, etc., and capable of managing the health state such as disease and estrus of an animal in high accuracy by measuring the motion quantity of the animal in high accuracy and provide a grazing stock managing system using the managing apparatus. SOLUTION: The objective grazing stock managing apparatus 1 to be attached to a grazing animal 2 is provided with an acceleration sensor 11 attached to the animal 2 at a part opposite to the legs 22 relative to the backbone of the animal, detecting the acceleration and outputting the acceleration data, a data memory 12 to store the acceleration data as a time series and an analyzing part 13 connected to the data memory 12, analyzing the data and outputting the obtained data on the number of steps at prescribed time intervals.</p> |
