<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily provide timing and to improve directional property of hitted ball by providing successively a tip part, a shaft part and a bat part from one end part along the axial direction of a shaft and providing two expanded parts on the shaft part along the axial direction to give bending points at least at two positions. SOLUTION: A golf club shaft 1 has a tip part, a shaft part 3 and a bat part 4 from one end part along the axial direction and two expanded parts 3A and 3B are provided on the shaft part 3 along the axial direction. The first bending point PI and the second bending point P2 are respectively provided between these expanded parts 3A and 3B and between the expanded part 3B and the bat part 4, and the outer max. diameters Da and Db at the max. points (a) and (b) of the expanded parts 3A and 3B are respectively set within a range of 1.02-3.0 times the outer diameter of the shaft part 3. In addition, the lengths in the axial direction La and Lb of the expanded parts 3A and 3B are respectively set to be 5-40% of the length L of the shaft part 3.</p> |
