<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating waste in which waste is efficiently treated and also effective utilization is enabled. SOLUTION: Fuel is supplied from a fuel tank 2 to a combustion furnace 1 and combustion is started. Waste is charged into a dry distillation furnace 6. When heat H of combustion in the combustion furnace 1 is transmitted to the dry distillation furnace 6, thermal decomposition of carbon compounds such as various plastics, wood and paper contained in waste is started. Thereby, gas G plentifully containing combustible gas is generated. This gas G is introduced into the combustion furnace 1 from a discharge pipe 7. Combustible gas contained in gas G is burned in the combustion furnace 1 and therefore even if the feed amount of fuel from the fuel tank 2 to the combustion furnace 1 is reduced, equal heat H of combustion is obtained. Further, carbonaceous substance remains as dry distilled material in the dry distillation furance 6. The carbonaceous substance is deposited and conserved in the ground.</p> |
