PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease cracks produced during aging at high temp. and high pressure in an autoclave in a process of injecting source slurry comprising silicate source material, lime source material, gypsum, a foaming agent and water into a molding flash, a process of cutting formed semi-hardened body and a process of aging in high temp. and high pressure water vapor, by compounding a specified amt. of gypsum as the source material in the solid. SOLUTION: In order to prevent production of cracks, the compounding ratio of gypsum is required to >=8 wt.%. However, if the amt. of gypsum used is too large, the strength of the finished product decreases and a normal ALC is not obtd. By controlling the compounding ratio to max. 15 wt.% in order to maintain the strength as an ALC. a normal semi-hardened body can be formed. By using gypsum in this range, the cracks in the side faces of the semihardened body due to strain produced by expansion and contraction of the semihardened body during aging in high temp. and high pressure autoclave can be prevented. |
