PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for stably and efficiently producing dry ice, by which gas-liquid separation of a liquid carbonic acid gas supplied from a resource of a liquid carbonic acid gas can be surely carried out, and only liquid carbonic acid gas is jetted from a nozzle formed in a snow horn. SOLUTION: A carbonic acid gas in a mixed state of gas and liquid supplied from a liquid carbonic gas-storing vessel 4 through a liquid carbonic acid gas- supplying pipe 7 is introduced into a tilting tube 3 having a prescribed tilting angle and for separating the gas and the liquid to separate the gas from the liquid. The carbonic acid gas in the gas phase is taken out from the upper part of the tilting tube 3 and the carbonic acid gas in the liquid state taken out from the lower part of the tilting tube 3 is supplied to a nozzle 1 and jetted to the interior of a snow horn in the method for producing dry ice. |
