PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent an article code from being failed in inputting by controlling a label issuing apparatus for printing a bar code corresponding to an article on a label for issuing so that issuing of the label is inhibited when the code corresponding to the article coincides with a predetermined code. SOLUTION: When a label issuing inhibit mode is set in a microcomputer 20 of the label issuing apparatus 2, whether any key included in a key processing routine has been pressed is checked, and when a key for label issuing has not been pressed, whether an article code is a predetermined code, that is '00000' is determined by a CPU 24. If an operator fails to input the article code at the time of article registration and the article code has been registered as '00000', an error message is displayed on a display 22 and also an alarm is sounded from an electronic sound output part to urge the operator to register the article code, and label issuing in a label issuing part 23 is inhibited. |
