PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To put a device into an unusable condition and ensure safety by providing an injection needle mounting portion of a hub and a fluid-handling device-mounting section separably at a ring weakening portion, releasing the injection needle storing portion of the hub from a snap fastener and closing a shield. SOLUTION: The injection needle assembly 10 has a slender injection needle 12 having a sharp-pointed end portion 14, a base portion 16, and a penetrated passage 18. It has also a hub 20 having a penetrated axial opening 22. The hub 20, when attached to a fluid handling device such as a syringe 24, projects the end portion 14 of the injection needle 12 out of the syringe 24. The hub 20 has a ring weakening portion 26 forming an injection needle-mounting portion 28 and a fluid-handling device-mounting portion 30. The injection needle assembly 10 is furnished with a slender shield 32, which is attached to the injection needle mounting portion 28 with a hinge 44. Each of the mounting portions 28, 30 is separable by a force applied to the assembly 10 in the direction of the head of the weakening portion 26. |
