PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a tube coated roller without generating waviness on a surface of the roller even in the case of reduced thickness and low hardness of an elastic material layer by providing high adhesive force between the elastic layer and a resin coated tube and hence high durability. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a tube coated roller having the steps of mounting a resin tube 2 and a core 3 passing through the tube 2 in a cavity of a mold, injecting elastic material precursor between the tube 2 and the core 3 to fully fill the cavity with the tube 2, the precursor and core 3, and curing the precursor to an elastic material, comprises the steps of etching its inner surface in the state that tension is applied to the tube 2, injecting the precursor, and curing it. |
