PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dry the print portion of paper without providing a complex mechanism and means by providing a ventilation channel by which air flows into the print portion of paper by the movement of a carrier. SOLUTION: The printer is structured so as to have a carrier 10 furnished with an ink cartridge 20 and a guide shaft 30 to which the carrier 10 is mounted movably with a shaft, and the carrier 10 goes back and forth along the guide shaft 30 and the ink cartridge 20 performs printing on a paper 100 opposite thereto. In such case, both front and rear sides of the carrier 10 form tapered surfaces 11a, 11b sloping inward toward the image area of paper 100, the carrier 10 moves along the guide shaft 30, making air hitting the carrier 10 through the tapered surfaces 11a, 11b flow into the image area of the paper 100. |
