PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing continuously a multilayer oriented polyamide film excellent in performances such as gas barrier properties, dimensional stability and retort resistance, in a stable manner and without producing foams. SOLUTION: On the occasion of manufacturing a multilayer oriented polyamide film having a polyamide resin layer Z constituted of a composition prepared by compounding aliphatic polyamide with amorphous polyamide in between a layer X constituted of a composition prepared by compounding modified polyethylene and talc with polyamide formed of xylylene diamine and a 4-12C aliphatic dicarboxylic acid and a layer Y constituted of a composition prepared by compounding the aliphatic polyamide with the modified polyethylene, extrusion is conducted in the following sequence: (1) the extrusion is started in the sequence of Y, X and Z, (2) the extrusion is executed for 1-6 hours at a low speed not exceeding 20% of the capacity of each extruder, and (3) the extrusion is executed at a speed of 50% or above of the capacity of each extruder. |
