PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the unevenness of a wire winding surely and deal with it quickly when the unevenness of a wire winding is generated during the winding of the wire onto a reel. SOLUTION: During the winding of a wire 18 to reels 25, 26, a winding diameter of the wire is detected, in the place near both ends of the reels 25, 26 and at least one place near the intermediate part, by real winding diameter sensors 33, 34, 35. The detection data of the wire winding diameter in both places are compared and when the difference between both data exceeds a prescribed range, the traverse turn back position of a traverse mechanism 29 is changed. |
