PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make possible to record information additionally on information recorded previously on the recorded area of a recording medium in a registered state. SOLUTION: A table 1 having a turntable 2 is moved to a head 9 in the downstream side of a carrying direction with a driving motor 7. A CCD sensor 8 confirms if there is an image on the label portion of a compact disk 11 placed on the turntable 2 and the directional property of the image. On the basis of information concerning the directional properity of the image, the directional property of the image is aligned with the main scanning direction (direction of an arrow B) of the head 9 by turning the turntable 2 by a prescribed angle. After that, the head 9 adds a new image to the label portion 16 of the compact disk 11. |
