<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prolong the service life of an ultraviolet lamp and to eliminate the needless on-off action of the lamp by keeping the ultraviolet lamp in a present state for a fixed time at the time of inputting a turn-off signal or a turn-on signal to the ultraviolet lamp arranged in a deodorizing device and after that, turning-off or turning-on the ultraviolet lamp. SOLUTION: An air cleaner 1 is composed of a ventilating part 10 and a cleaning part 20 and the ventilating part 10 is constituted of a ventilating fan 11, an intake fan 12 and a heat exchanger 13. On the other hand, the cleaning part 20 is constituted of a dust collecting device 21 at the lower stage, a deodorizing device 27 at the upper stage and a cross-flow fan 33 and the deodorizing device 27 is made to constitution where 3 pieces of the ultraviolet lamp 29 are held between a pair of upper and lower photocatalytic filters 30, 31. Then, when the ultraviolet lamp 19 is controlled by on-off accompanied with the change of an air quantity mode and the turn-on or the turn-off of the ultraviolet lamp is directed, the ultraviolet lamp is controlled so as to be turned on/off corresponding to a command signal after keeping it in a present state for a fixed time.</p> |
