PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus having no deterioration of image quality and having no positional shift of pixels in the process in terms of an image forming apparatus wherein particles (color agent) or liquid drops are moved, ejected, transferred or stuck to predetermined pixel positions on a recording medium. SOLUTION: A rear face device 2 receives a driving force such as an electric field, a magnetic field or a pressure for moving, ejecting, transferring or sticking a particle 4 to a recording medium 3 by a unit of pixels from a supplying device 1 wherein the particles 4 are uniformly formed in a thin layer. As the rear face device operates in synchronism with the supplying device 1, the particles 4 are moved, ejected, transferred or stuck to predetermined pixel positions on the recording medium 3 even when the position of the supplying device 1 is shifted with respect to the rear face device 2. |
