PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition for reducing the phytotoxicity of herbicides by including dymron and ethephon. SOLUTION: This composition contains (A) dymron and (B) ethephon usually in amounts of 1 pt.wt. and 0.01-100 pts.wt., preferably 0.1-10 pts.wt., respectively. The composition is used for treating the seeds or seedlings of useful plant (rice, upland field crops, lawn grasses and the like, especially rice). The agrochemical whose phytotoxicity can be reduced by the use of the composition includes herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, plant growth regulators and the like, especially herbicides such as herbicides for paddy fields (pyrazosulfuron- ethyl and the like) or herbicides for upland fields or lawn grasses (simazine, dichlobenil and the like). |
