PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple-structure servo valve for a power steering device capable of keeping steering rigidity during the neutral state without incurring a large scale. SOLUTION: A storage hole 13 extended to the radial direction is formed in a torsion bar 7 with its larger diameter at the axially intermediate part, a pair of plungers 14, 14 are stored therein to be movable forward and backward and a compression coil spring 15 is laid between both of them. In a torsion bar case 16 encircling the torsion bar 7 to be integrally rotated with an input shaft 4, an opening 19 is provided to engage the plungers 14. The axially intermediate part of the torsion bar 7 is connected to the input shaft 4 during the neutral state to improve the torsional rigidity of the tortion bar 7. The compression coil spring 15 and the plungers 14 are assembled in the torsion bar 7 in a simple structure and so a cost is reduced without a space.
