PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for a lustrous cold rolled stainless steel sheet by removing the bad shape and crack due to the asperity occurred on the surface of the thin wall cast piece, and the rough surface and grain boundary corrosion groove caused by annealing and pickling of the thin wall cast piece and the thin steel plate after preliminary cold rolling. SOLUTION: The this wall cast piece obtained by continuous casting is applied to spare cold rolling by the cold rolling mill with the rolling reduction of 5% or more and 20% or less after being annealed and pickled or only picked. After the roughness Ra of the surface of the thin steel sheet is made to be 1μm or less, the surface is ground only by 5μm or more and 100μm or less after being annealed and pickled or as it is. Then, after being applied to the finish cold rolling, the sheet is annealed and pickled or just annealed with luminescence instead.
