PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively regenerate many honeycomb type activated carbons without wearing and breaking these honeycomb type activated carbons. SOLUTION: The placing face of carrying belt 11 of a belt conveyer carried in a prescribed direction is constituted of a wire net 18 and a honeycomb housing container 22 in which a honeycomb type activated carbon 19 after using is housed is placed on the wire net 18. Then, the honeycomb type activated carbon 19 is heated in a state in which the faces 20 and 21 having vent holes in the honeycomb type activated carbon 19 are opened in a continuous regeneration furnace for carrying out heating treatment to decompose and eliminate absorbed material of the honeycomb type activated carbon 19. Thereby, the honeycomb type activated carbon 19 is regenerated without applying impact to the activated carbon. |
