PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cards handling device which can prevent cards from taking inside through stop of taking-in operation when the cards are put in overlapped. SOLUTION: This cards handling device is provided with an inlet 2 for having a card K put in, a thickness regulating mechanism 4 for regulating overlapped passing of the cards K put in through the inlet 2, an input sensor 17 provided between this thickness regulating mechanism 4 and the inlet 2 for detecting the cards K put in through the inlet 2, a pair of taking-in rollers for taking the cards K having passed the thickness regulating mechanism 4, and a control part. By this, when the input sensor 17 repeatedly detects cards K intermittently, taking-in operation of the pair of taking-in rollers 5 is stopped. |
